Alumni Rally Around Campus Beautification

Alumni can be excellent advocates for today’s students. They can come together to support student learning outcomes, social and emotional wellbeing, and the school itself. 

At Brainerd High School in Tennessee, alumni scrubbed the floors and auditorium chairs, painted classroom walls, and made the campus look a little shinier.  

"It's just an opportunity for our community to come and give back to our students," Dean Desiree Seay said. "It's also an opportunity for our students to see, 'hey you can take pride in being a part of panther nation.'"
