Alumni Toolkit in a Time of COVID-19.

Hello Everybody.

We know it has been a difficult year, especially for educators and students. Our goal is to continue to support your efforts with alumni engagement as we navigate this together.

As schools move into the distance learning model, we’ve made some modifications to our platform to support virtual events.  Each activity worksheet now has a space to add links for additional meeting information, including links for virtual meetings! Has your school held any virtual events with alumni? Let us know! We’d love to feature your event in an upcoming blog!

Another improvement we’ve made recently is to simplify the sign up process for Class of 2020 seniors. If you haven’t done so already, now is a good time to get those Seniors into your database. Signing them up in the AlumniToolkit will help you maintain a helpful and caring relationship with them, and grow your community of supporters and partners for the future.

Here are some sample messages targeting your Seniors:

Hey Class of 2020! Congrats on all you’ve accomplished at <<HIGH SCHOOL>>. Remember how unknown your future felt as a Freshman? We’d like to keep in touch and invite you back as alumni help students feel better about their futures. Your story - from then to now - can show students what’s possible. It’s easy to be a true influencer. Sign up at https://alumnitoolkit.org/alumni today!

Hey Class of 2020! <<HIGH SCHOOL>> could use your help. In today’s world it’s so important to help students find a path forward after high school. But it’s been a long time since most of us were in college or careers outside of school. We’d like to invite you back in the future so you can share YOUR college and career experience and success strategies with students. It’s easy to sign up for our new alumni network at https://alumnitoolkit.org/alumni today!

Join our #ATKchallenge and get those seniors signed up! Make sure you follow us and tag us on your social media so we can support your efforts by reposting!

Stay well
